Hannah Anbert (DK) & The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts

Hannah Anbert (b. 1984, Denmark) often works in a context critical of ideology and capitalism, where she combines performances, props, video and bizarre costumes. She has been known for selling her works for a percentage of the buyer’s’ income after taxes, so that rich and poor become equalized. In 2016, Hannah Anbert received the sought-after Start Point Prize, which is awarded to the most promising newly educated artist in Europe. She was educated at The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in 2016 and lives and works in Copenhagen.
