Zeenath Hasan (DK/SE)


Zeenath Hasan is a design educator, social entrepreneur and erstwhile corporate ethnographer, based in Copenhagen, Denmark. Hasans work is situated at a confluence of media, design and everyday practices for a cultural appropriation of information spaces. She has established the kitchen lab Tapori Tiffins, and founded Sweden’s first food waste kitchen, Rude Food Malmö. Currently she leads the development of Food + Change, a platform engaging food as pedagogy in a cross-sectoral interchange with society and economy at the Design Department, Linnaeus University, Sweden. Hasan and her projects have received numerous grants and awards from public and private institutions supporting education, the arts, and the environment.
